Product Description

So Slick, Bugs Can't Stick!

RejeX is a thin-film polymer coating with a high-release surface that provides space age protection for cars and trucks, boats, RVs, airplanes, and motorcycles. It prevents stains and the adhesion of common contaminants such as exhaust and soot, bugs, oil, tree sap, bird droppings, road grime, brake dust, etc. It simplifies graffiti removal and repels rain when applied to windshields.

One 16 oz. bottle of RejeX will protect one RV or three to four standard-to-large vehicles. It greatly enhances shine and retards oxidation, and its deep, lustrous shine outlasts most popular waxes by months.

RejeX is great on airplanes, but it is not necessary to apply it to hot leading edges because there is no real advantage.

Use RejeX to protect and beautify:

* painted metal

* glass

* acrylic

* gel-coat

* fiberglass

* glossy plastic

* hard, non-porous surfaces such as polished metal

* aluminum automotive wheels

RejeX is not intended for use on porous or highly oxidized painted surfaces or to fill fine scratches. It can be applied in multiple coats, allowing 8 hours' curing time between coats for deeper color and greater depth of gloss. Because it has a higher refractive index than waxes, it produces richer, deeper looking colors and a lustrous long-lasting finish.

Many vehicle and RV owners install Diamond Shield, a clear plastic film by 3M, on the fronts of their vehicles to protect against rock chips and bugs. A coat of RejeX on top of the clean film has no detrimental effects and makes it much easier to clean off bugs. In fact, 3M recommends RejeX to its Diamond Shield customers.

RejeX also makes things like oil easier to remove. Begin with a mild soap or detergent, such as Dawn dishwashing detergent (a great oil/grease cutter) and graduate to Simple Green if necessary. The key is to not use an abrasive product or scrub hard.

Abrasive cleaners, polishes, rubbing compounds or chemical paint strippers will remove the RejeX film and protection. Only normal paint preparation is required if a RejeX-treated surface needs repainting.

RejeX contains no free silicone oils that can contaminate paint and cause repainting problems. However, wait at least seven days for solvent to dissipate before applying RejeX to new vehicles or to those with a fresh paint job.

APPLICATION:

Store RejeX at temperatures between 40° F and 80° F because it will separate if it freezes. If this happens, give it a thorough shaking before use. RejeX has a shelf life of about 18 months, depending on its storage environment.

Apply RejeX to a cool (less than 85° F) and dry surface out of direct sunlight. A surface that is too hot will not allow the coating to cure before it bonds to the surface, preventing it from performing to its potential.

RejeX is easy to apply:

1. Shake well and wipe it on, allow it to dry to a haze (about 20 minutes), and then wipe it off. Strenuous rubbing or buffing is not required.

2. Allow the coating to cure out of the elements for 12 hours. This will allow the polymer building blocks that make up RejeX to attach to the surface and crosslink into a long-lasting, crystal-clear, impervious film. A coating exposed to contaminants (oil, fuel, soot, water, cleaners, etc.) before it has fully cured may not achieve maximum performance and durability.

3. For optimum protection, reapply RejeX every 4 to 6 months as needed.

While it can be applied over existing wax, the duration of protection will be reduced as the softer underlying wax degrades. There is no need to wax over RejeX—wax won't adhere to its shinier finish. RejeX will not bond to automotive products that contain silicone.
